Event Cancellation Policy

Rapid Response EMS has put a Cancellation Policy in affect for all events that we have been contracted for.  If inclement weather is in the forecast or for any other reason the client makes the decision of canceling our services for the day, the client is required to give Rapid Response EMS a minimum of 4 hours notice otherwise will be required to pay 4 hours of coverage for the agreed upon number of first responders.

Event Change of Service Policy

Rapid Response EMS has put a Change of Service Policy in affect for all events that we have been contracted for.  If the client makes the decision of changing the service that was agreed upon within 30 days of the first scheduled shift, the client will be required to pay a $250 change of service fee.  If the client provides more than 30 days of notice for any service changes, there will be no cost for the change.

First Aid Training Policy
  • Terms & Conditions for certification: In order to obtain certification, you must attend 100% of the course and be able to demonstrate the skills to the required standard.  This is a Canadian Red Cross requirement.  No refund will be issued if you are late or do not meet the required standards for certification
  • Cancellations: If you cancel at least 5 days or more before the course date, you will receive a full refund less a $25.00 administration fee.  If you cancel less than 4 days before the course date, or you do not show up for the course, you will receive a 50% refund.  Rapid Response EMS reserves the right to cancel a course at any time.  Most of our courses run as scheduled, however if an instructor is sick or enrolment is low, we may have to cancel the course.  In this event you will receive a full refund if needed.
  • Transfers: If you need to transfer to a different course date please contact our office.
